It’s my pleasure to let you know that the UNI-HOSTEL Student’s Hostel has been a student’s hostel in the 3-backpack category of the National Certificate of Trademark since 28 April 2015 and it is the first hostel to win this recognition.
“Following hostels, campsites, resorts, private and village accommodation, youth and student’s hostels are recognized with the National Certificate of Trademark marked with backpacks. The more backpacks the accommodation has the higher quality service it offers. This certificate of trademark has been set up by the Ministry of Tourism to highlight the accommodation for young people offering a higher level of service from the rest. Qualifying accommodation is done on the basis of a system of professional aspects listed and approved by the Union of Hungarian Accommodation for Young People (Magyarországi Ifjúsági Szállások Szövetsége), and in this way it guarantees the quality of the accommodation given this certificate. Accommodation is marked with 1, 2 or 3 backpacks according to the level of its services and the final decision is made by the Minister of the National Economy on the basis of the proposal of an independent committee. Accommodation may get the use of the trademark for 5 years.”
