Lake Hámori: It is a determining part of the face of Lillafüred. Lake Fel, which was the backwater of the Brook Szinva because of the lime deposit, was the natural ancestor of Lake Hámori, which is 1,5 kilometres long and 9 metres deep. The present-day lake was created by the backwater of the Brook Garadna in 1813 to use the water for industrial purposes. It is the oldest reservoir in Hungary with a capacity of 0.4 million cubic metres. 14 permanent and 11 temporary springs flows into the lake.
