Szinva Terrace
Szinva square was made in 2005 on the site of a former car park. The levels of the square consisting of decorative stairs and terraces lead to the Brook Szinva and the artificial waterfalls lit at night. It is in the city centre near the crosswords known as ‘Villanyrendőr’ (traffic light), and it is one of the popular public places in the city. It was named after the Brook Szinva flowing through it.
It is bordered by the Brook Szinva in the north, Szemere Bertalan Street in the east, Kandia Street in the south and Szinva Bridge in the west. The hand-rails of the Szinva Terrace there are locks which are put there by lovers. It is a pleasant place with a special atmosphere, ideal for relaxation and recreation.
